Position Highlights:

This position provides an opportunity to expand depth and breadth of spine services. Surgical volume consists of routine and complex spine cases. The newly recruited neurosurgeon will participate in general neurosurgery and trauma call. Call is on average 1:4. Additional responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and research activities

  • Complex, reconstructive and routine spine cases
  • Neuro/Trauma call is required
  • Travel to off-site neuro clinic as needed
  • Clinical research trials
  • Academic faculty appointment available
    • MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw (St. Mary's) is the region's top neuro-specialized facility in mid and northern Michigan. Boasting unmatched knowledge, experience, and technology, this is a Level II Trauma Center and the premier treatment destination for neurological cases in our community.

  • Dedicated neuro-intensive care unit and neuro-progressive care units staffed with Certified Neuro Registered Nurses.
  • Dedicated and specially trained neurosurgeons, neurologists and neurointerventionalists.

Education Requirements

  • Board certified or Board Eligible
  • Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply
  • Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency

Compensation

Base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan. Benefits include:
