Behavioral Health Therapist

Zanesville, United States Allwell Behavorial Health Services Full time
Responsible for providing direct clinical services to clients and families; refer and link clients to other Allwell services. Provides mental health crisis intervention as needed. Completes and submits all required documentation.

Responsibilities Include:

Provides mental health assessments, individual, group, marital and family counseling/psychotherapy and crisis intervention.
Referral and linkage to other needed Allwell services as well as referral to other community resources.
Building relationships with primary care staff.
Provides clear, concise and prompt feedback to the primary care practitioner.
Provides behavioral health education as appropriate to the primary care staff.
Ensures services are delivered professionally and with concern for the client’s well-being.
Maintains and submits required documentation within the time frame specified by policy
Attends/participates in Allwell clinical and administrative staff meetings.
Able to exercise good analysis and judgment in discriminating among many alternatives.
Flexibility, adaptability and tolerant of interruptions
Knowledge and understanding of medical conditions and interrelationship with mental health condition

Education/Experience/Licensure:

Master’s degree in Social Work or Master’s in Education in Counseling from an accredited program required
Must possess and maintain valid Ohio license as a LISW, LPCC.
