We have 5 exam rooms (two with lift tables), a surgery suite with separate dental table, digital radiology (including digital dental rads), ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and more Position Purpose We arelooking to add an associate veterinarian that loves a fast-paced and steady lifestyle We are offering a sign on bonus of $50,000 Our doctors have over a century of combined veterinary experience, so any new graduate or team member will undoubtedly benefit from the diverse knowledge our doctors have to offer. From preventative care, internal medicine, imaging, surgery, to urgent care and behavior, our doctors have seen it all. In addition to our doctors, we have a wonderful and expansive support staff. Each doctor is paired with their own technician and then assisted by floating technicians, so you will never be without a hand. With the ability to hunt, fish, hike and swim, there is something to do for every outdoor enthusiast Essential ResponsibilitiesExamine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries. Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results. Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options. Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed. Provide counsel around pet end of life care. Maintain patients' medical records. Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures. Requirements/QualificationsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution. Appropriate state licensure. Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients. Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
