As a sign professional, you will play a vital role in driving results to meet challenging company goals and client expectations with signs of the highest quality. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimating Associate to join our team. The Estimating Associate plays a critical role in preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for signage projects. This position supports the estimating, sales, and project management teams by analyzing project requirements, materials, labor, and vendor pricing to ensure competitive and profitable proposals. Key Responsibilities: Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to determine scope of work. Assist in preparing cost estimates for signage projects, including ADA signage, vinyl graphics, channel letters, monuments, and custom fabrication. Research material, equipment, and labor costs to compile accurate pricing data. Request, track, and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes. Prepare take-offs and quality calculations for materials and production hours. Collaborate with sales, project management, and production teams to align estimates with operational capabilities. Maintain and update estimating databases, cost records, and bid tracking logs. Support development of proposals and quotes for client presentation. Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and value‑engineering options. Ensure all estimates meet company standards for accuracy, timeliness, and profitability. Qualifications: Prior experience in sign manufacturing, construction estimating, or related field preferred. Strong math, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to details. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with estimating or ERP software is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Work Environment: In‑office role with collaboration across sales, design, production, and project management teams. Standard office hours, with flexibility required during bid deadlines.
