They are seeking a Backend Engineer with expertise in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering to build reliable and scalable systems that optimize their platform for growth and performance.Responsibilities:• Design & refine alerting systems to detect anomalies and performance bottlenecks.• Define observability standards focused on reliability, latency, and customer impact.• Investigate performance issues across infrastructure, application, and database layers.• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure, efficient, and stable deployments.• Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform for scalable, resilient environments.• Optimize data systems (e.g., Postgres, OpenSearch) for performance and integrity.• Ensure high availability through incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.• Support security & compliance tasks such as patching, audits, and vulnerability management.• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to and resolve production incidents swiftly.Qualifications:Required:• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, DevOps, or SRE.• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, containers, and related services.• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Postgres, OpenSearch).• Proficient in Python; skilled in scripting and backend service development.• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).• Strong grasp of CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native applications.• Skilled in observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).• Proven track record of building and operating end-to-end systems; focused on uptime and reliability.• Solid understanding of networking, security, and scalable system design.• Experience using LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.Preferred:• Startup and/or healthcare tech experience is a plus.Company:Plenful is a no-code workflow automation and AI platform that optimizes healthcare's manual, administrative workflows.
