VCA Northeast Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team full time. ** signing bonus for LVT's ** The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. . Our ideal candidate has a strong passion for quality pet care while offering exceptional customer service to our clients. Our patients include canine, feline, and pocket pets.
Hours of operation: Monday: 7:30a-6p Tuesday: 7:30a-6p Wednesday: 7:30a-6p Thursday: 7:30a-6p Friday: 7:30a-6p Saturday: 8a-3p Sunday: kennel hours only (techs not scheduled)

You have worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and we want you to use the knowledge that you have invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
Physical examinations and patient assessment
Anesthesia monitoring
Surgical preparation and assisting

Catheter placement

The salary range for this position is $19-$21 / hour
