Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager (Consultant service) Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Type: Full-Time | In-Office Position Overview As a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager, you will lead the planning, design, and execution of complex civil engineering projects with a focus on mining infrastructure, site development, stormwater, and water/wastewater systems. This client-facing role requires a licensed professional engineer with extensive project and team management experience. Key Responsibilities Project Management Lead project planning and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Maintain regular communication with clients (on-site and off-site) to track project progress and expectations. Prepare and manage project proposals, change orders, and status reports. Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and service orders. Oversee subconsultants and conduct internal project forecasting. Technical Oversight Perform and manage engineering design calculations and evaluations. Oversee preparation of technical reports, plan sets, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications. Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, scientists, technicians, and drafters. Conduct staff meetings, performance evaluations, and recommend raises or bonuses. Promote a collaborative and supportive work culture focused on technical excellence. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 15+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management. Must be a USA Citizen or Green Card holder Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, or ability to obtain Arizona licensure within 6 months. Strong experience in civil infrastructure such as: Water/wastewater systems Earthwork and grading Piping and pumping systems Site development and roadways Mining and reclamation projects (preferred) Proven track record in client and project management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
