See the Benefits home page for more information.Position SummaryAdult Spine Neurosurgery Faculty PositionThe University of New Mexico School of Medicine Department of Neurosurgery is recruiting a board certified or board eligible, Open Rank, Open Track, general neurosurgeon with interest in Adult Spine Neurosurgery, to lead and grow the identified practice. Join 9 established neurosurgeons, soon to be 12, and 2 neurocritical care doctors, currently practicing and teaching neurosurgery residents with the University of New Mexico.The University of New Mexico is the only tertiary referral Neurosurgical center in the State of 2.3 million people. There is a significant need and opportunity to grow and expand an established practice focused on spine trauma. Overall, the department has a comprehensive practice focusing on a diverse range of neurological disorders in both pediatric and adult neurosurgery, with recent re-establishment of an ACGME approved residency in 2022.
