As a Licensed Agent - Primary Field Agent you will be on-site at hospital locations, worksite and physician locations, and meeting prospects out in the field. As a Licensed Agent of Perfiniti you will be required to obtain "Ready to Sell" status for both Medicare products including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plans, and Special Needs plans as well as ACA Marketplace plans with all major carriers. You will become knowledgeable on all products in the market and specialize in finding members the most comprehensive and affordable plan that fits the clients needs and budget.

Essential Duties of the Position

  • Determine applicants' particular needs and financial situation
  • Make outbound follow-up calls and take inbound calls
  • Travel around Ft. Wayne area
  • Develop relationships with other peers at hospital locations and physician locations
  • Identify centers of influence in your market to build business and referrals
  • Become a product expert in Medicare and Marketplace plans to answer any and all of your potential client's questions
  • Fill out required forms, applications, and compliance documents
  • Be thorough in your review of plans and products in the client's service area
  • Follow-up on submitted applications and have a high level of customer service
  • Ability to learn quickly and navigate effectively through multiple systems
  • Maintain records and files
  • Display strong organization/time management skills
  • Create basic EXCEL documents
  • Track leads that have been assigned to you and follow the processes and workflow to convert leads
  • Maintains database(s)
  • Team player attitude
Requirements

Requirements of the Position
  • Valid Health Indiana Insurance license
  • Complete required C.E. for licenses and annual certification for Medicare and Marketplace
  • Presenting in front of groups
  • Understand ACA and marketplace details
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and Medicare Marketing Guidelines
  • Understand Medicare products and the different qualifications for the different Medicare products
  • Computer proficiency skills are required
  • Mathematical reasoning and computational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to complete online forms
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to perform repeated tasks with a high level of accuracy

Difficulty of Work

Must be able to work late hours and thrive in high pace environment. Ability to communicate and effectively provide applicant with proper recommendation of coverage.

Responsibility

The incumbent works alongside other agents. Data entered into EXCEL must be accurate and well maintained. Communication with other agents and the applicants must be detailed.

Personal Work Relationships

Incumbent works with enrollment fair coordinator, client contacts, and other agents. Will be in constant contact with Broker Services, Medicare and Marketplace Representatives.
