Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced *RN *_*(Registered Nurse*_*) *to fill an opening located in Glenwood Springs, COfor $75 Hourly Blended
* 13 weeks
* 8 hours
* 8AM-5 PM
* 40 hrs wk= $3000 gross/wk

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled home health and Hospice Nurse to join our team. As a Home health and Hospice Nurse, you will provide specialized care and support to patients and their families during end-of-life stages. Your role will involve providing physical, emotional, and spiritual care to ensure the comfort and dignity of patients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' condition and report any changes or concerns to the interdisciplinary team
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding end-of-life care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Skills:
- 2+ years of home health and hospice experience required.
- This is a rural area in the Rocky Mountains
- RN License for CO
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Understanding of assisted living facilities and their unique care needs
- Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and interpretation
- Experience working in a medical office setting, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Ability to provide acute care interventions as needed in hospice settings
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatment for symptom management
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures for palliative interventions
