Assistant General Manager/Director of Sales Join to apply for the Assistant General Manager/Director of Sales role at Dimension Hospitality. Position Summary The Assistant General Manager (AGM) with Director of Sales responsibilities is a dual‑role leadership position responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations while driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and maximized profitability by combining operational management with proactive sales leadership. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage. Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement improvement plans. Supervise and mentor department heads, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally. Sales & Revenue Generation Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase occupancy, ADR and RevPar. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, group, and leisure segments. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, and local businesses. Prepare and present monthly sales reports, forecasts, and budgets. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and digital strategies. Leadership & Financial Management Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitoring financial performance. Lead by example in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Train and develop staff to achieve performance goals and career growth. Performance Metrics & KPIs Occupancy Rate: Achieve monthly and quarterly occupancy targets set by the company. ADR: Maintain or exceed budgeted ADR goals. RevPar: Drive growth through effective pricing and sales strategies. Sales Revenue: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales revenue targets for corporate, group and leisure segments. Guest Satisfaction Score: Maintain brand-standard guest satisfaction scores and improve year‑over‑year performance. Budget Adherence: Ensure operational and sales expenses remain within approved budgets. Job Skills Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets & familiarity with brand‑specific Property Management Systems. Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills. Ability to read and interpret business records and statistical reports. Ability to use mathematical skills to interpret financial information and prepare budgets. Ability to analyze and interpret policies established by administrators. Ability to make decisions based on production reports and similar facts, experience, and personal opinion. Physical Requirements Ability to speak and hear in English. Close and distance vision. Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi‑manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Working Conditions Continually works in normal office conditions and in close proximity to others. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of hotel management experience, with proven success in sales leadership. Strong knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and sales strategies.
