About the Role We are looking for an attorney in our Long Beach office or remotely in Southern California. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized attorney with strong communication skills, a strong self‑motivation, ability to autonomously manage their caseload, and a drive to deliver consistently high‑quality work product and client experience. We take pride in keeping caseloads reasonable, in having a low attorney‑to‑assistant ratio, and in utilizing technology to create a flexible and efficient work environment. The Ideal Candidate Has at least 1 year of workers’ compensation defense experience. Can work with minimal supervision in managing a caseload. Is adept at taking depositions including cross‑examinations and conducting witness interviews. Has excellent advocacy skills, including appearing at hearings and conducting law and motion practice. Maintains superior client service, including responsiveness and prompt communications and delivering excellent work product. Candidates who do not have the demonstrated work experience will be considered if they can demonstrate they are otherwise exceptionally qualified to undertake the tasks required by this role. You must be licensed to practice law in the state of California and in good standing with the California State Bar to be considered for this position. Compensation and Benefits Salary is competitive with that of large firms. The ability to set flexible hours. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 401(k). Benefit Conditions Waiting period may apply. We are looking for an attorney to work in either our Long Beach or Westlake Village offices. Job Type: Full-time Schedule 8‑hour shift. Monday to Friday.
