Who We Need We're seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team and drive our engineering and technical hiring strategy. This role requires a technical recruiting expert who can partner with engineering leadership to build exceptional product and engineering teams, navigate complex technical requirements, and attract top‑tier talent in highly competitive markets. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in technical roles across the full stack, from junior engineers to distinguished technical leaders, and a proven track record of scaling high‑performing engineering organizations. At Rillet, we embrace flexible work arrangements. While this position offers remote work flexibility, we are looking for candidates located within commuting distance of our San Francisco office for periodic events and in‑person collaboration. What You’ll Do Partner with engineering managers and technical leads to execute recruiting strategies and support hiring plans for software engineering, data, and technical roles. Source and engage technical talent through multiple sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, GitHub, technical communities, and referrals, while building pipelines for current and upcoming technical openings. Manage full‑cycle recruiting for technical roles, including coordinating technical interviews and coding assessments while ensuring a positive candidate experience that reflects our engineering culture. Provide market insights to hiring managers and candidates on compensation trends, role expectations, and competitive landscape to support successful hiring outcomes. Who We’re Looking For 3-5 years of technical recruiting experience, including at least 2 years recruiting for engineering roles in startups, scale‑ups, or agencies serving tech clients. Ability to balance multiple requisitions across different technical disciplines—from software engineers to data roles—while maintaining quality and meeting hiring goals. Demonstrated success recruiting for core technical roles such as software engineers (backend/frontend/full‑stack), data engineers, and technical managers, with an understanding of what strong technical talent looks like at different experience levels. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to connect authentically with technical candidates and build trust with engineering hiring managers. Comfortable using recruiting metrics and data to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and communicate results to stakeholders.
