Summary

QA Inspector is in charge of inspecting products at different work stations during production to ensure they meet a set of required standards established by the company. Their duties include performing visual inspections and measurements, recording quality issues, and planning processes to decrease the instances of defects in products.

 

Job Descriptions

-       Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.

-       Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.

-       Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.

-       Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.

-       Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.

-       Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.

-       Work with the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.

-       Resolve quality-related issues on time.

 

Qualifications

-       Strong analytical and communication skills

-       Ability to work on multiple tasks

-       Good working knowledge with computers, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

-       Be a team player with a collaborative mindset

-       Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

-       High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

-       Certification in quality control is preferred.

-       A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

-       Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
