Dotnet Developer

Medical apparel manufacturer and distributor in Sherman Oaks is seeking an outstanding programmer to add to our existing team of developers. This position requires an individual who is a self-starter, has the ability to learn quickly, and has impeccable programming skills in a Microsoft environment. Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to productively carry out multiple projects on a daily basis, a demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical employees.

Central Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, monitor and maintain internal applications
• Proven experience in customer service role in a fast-paced environment
• Support users, troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in the shortest time frame.
• Provide information management support for a wide range departments
• Debug and fix software issues reported by users
• Write clean and efficient well documented code using C# and .net technologies
• Carry out additional technical projects as determined by management
• Upgrade and rewrite old applications applying new technologies

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of programming experience.
• Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases
• Ability to write, read and modify SQL queries and stored procedures
• Proficient in working with C#/VB.NET. VB6 is a plus
• .NET Framework to .NET Core
• Web
• JavaScript
• REST / Web API
• Familiar with Bitbucket or other version control
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices

Desired Skills: (Not required)

• Experience with Salesforce
• Strong understanding of warehouse management principles
