Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language service provider that connects bilingual and multilingual individuals with opportunities to serve as freelance interpreters. Our mission is to bridge the communication gap for those in need through excellent and compassionate language services. This independent contractor position allows you to set your availability and accept appointments based on your schedule. Appointments are available Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm and are offered on a need basis. Interpreters start at $25–$30 per hour, depending on language availability, experience, and demand. Requirements Fluency in English and target language with a comprehensive understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural patterns. Previous interpreting experience, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings. Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability in the workplace. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to operate basic communication equipment. Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to various work environments. Must be located in and authorized to work in the U.S. (We do not offer visa sponsorship). High School Diploma or equivalent; or certification in interpreting or related fields. Qualified interpreters will be invited to complete the onboarding process to join the linguist network.
