We are actively seeking Caregivers/DSP's to provide Community Living & Supports, Supported Employment, Day Support, and Supported Living Services. Part-time and full-time hours are available. We offer flexible schedules, benefits for full-time employees, and the ability to make an impact in your community.
Full-time position available in Pittsboro, NC.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms
- Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities
- Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on status of health and safety objectives
- Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver
- Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines
- Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities
- Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to work independently in the community and/or the client's home
- Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary, based on individual client needs
- Passion and experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
- Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs
- CPR/First Aid Certification Training is provided by company
- Flexible Schedules; Weekly Pay; Competitive Wages; Paid Onboarding Training; Scholarship Program;
- Eligibility of some benefits are based on hours worked include:
- Medical; Dental; Life Insurance; 401K
- $333 paid out after working 90 days with an average of 20 hours per week
- $333 paid out after working 6 months (180 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
- $334 paid out after working 1 year (365 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
- Applicant cannot have been employed by Abound Health (or any of our newly acquired companies) in the past 18 months
- Signing bonus not applicable for Residential Services
- Employees hired as Relative as Providers (RAPs) are not eligible for the Signing Bonus
