Responsibilities

A Physician Assistant Associate, also known as a Physician Assistant (PA) Associate or PA-C (Certified), is a crucial member of the healthcare team who works under the supervision of a licensed physician. Their role is multifaceted and involves a range of clinical and administrative responsibilities aimed at providing high-quality patient care.

Physician Assistant Associates work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, primary care practices, specialty offices, and urgent care centers. They play a vital role in expanding access to healthcare services, improving patient outcomes, and supporting the overall efficiency of the healthcare delivery system.

  • Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients under supervision and responsibility of a physician. Participates in education development and growth of DHMG.

Clinic Monday-Friday; no weekends or holidays (based on business needs)

Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time APPs can receive up to $90,000 over five years.


Qualifications

Minimum:


Degree as a Physician Assistant

Must hold and maintain: (1) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, (2) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant, (3) Valid DEA registration.


Pay Range
$40.66-$65.06/hour
