Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Cloud Data Platform Administrator for a contract to hire position in Bloomington - Hybrid, MN.

Position Summary: The client is currently hiring for a Cloud Data Platform Administrator. This role creates infrastructure as code pipelines and automation within Azure and Client predefined database architecture. This position works closely with application developers to identify needs and set up appropriate pipelines. The administrator assists data-engineers in the creation of functions and automation that pertain to development, analysis, performance tuning, and modeling of data.

Qualifications:4-year college degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field OR 3+ years IS&T related experience
Self-learner with strong desire to solve hard problems.
2+ years' hands on experience with DevOps
2+ years' hands on experience deploying services and Infrastructure in Azure public cloud.
2+ years' hands on experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform.
2+ years' experience with Ansible
Strong knowledge of data platforms
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with database backup and recovery.
Available to work outside normal business hours, including weekends and be on-call (7 days x 24 hours)
Effectively use Microsoft tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
