Position Electrical Engineer Location Portland, OR Position Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will work with our Engineering team in the design and development of complex circuit boards for advanced defense applications, including new, advanced counter UAS products. Required Skills/Qualifications 0–2 years’ experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Adaptable, eager to learn, and proactive toward continuous improvement Ability to work in a small team to rapidly prototype and develop new products Understanding of basic electronics lab tools (Power supplies, Oscilloscopes) Experience with embedded hardware Preferred Skills/Qualifications Experience with Altium, LTSpice software tools Experience designing high‑speed circuit boards Experience working with fabrication houses Proficiency using spectrum analyzer, VNA Understanding of EMI requirements and troubleshooting Knowledge of scripting tools for automation (Python) Soldering experience Education Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or related field Clearance Level Required Clearance not required Travel Up to 10% Working Conditions The work conditions may range from a general office environment to warehouse areas. Physical Demands Must have the ability to stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work May involve heavy lifting and moving of items, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors Other Requirements It is an essential requirement for the person in this role to have a legal right to work in the United States and be eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization and DoD Clearance. Salary $80,000–$90,000 annually (salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors). In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
