As a Short Term Care Nurse you will report directly to the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing, providing a clear line of communication and support. This Short term Care Nurse will lead a team of nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, who will look to them for guidance and mentorship. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, fostering a dynamic and fulfilling work environment where patient care is paramount.
As a Short-Term Care Nurse in our unit, you will experience a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing care to a diverse patient population. With a focus on efficiency and professionalism, our unit boasts a high volume of patients and operates at full capacity, keeping you engaged and challenged. You will work alongside exceptional physicians, skilled technicians, and a supportive nursing team, creating a collaborative and patient-centered atmosphere.
As a Short Term Care Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of providing compassionate and specialized care to our patients, honing your clinical competencies and skills through ongoing education and mentoring. The Short Term Care Nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to drive clinical quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you'll also play a role in administrative duties such as budgeting, staffing, and maintaining positive physician relations, offering a well-rounded and fulfilling nursing experience.
