Salary: $25 - $32 / hour


Core Responsibilities :

  • Perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within testing chambers to insure timely and accurate test results. (Example testing: temperature, humidity, and altitude exposures)
  • Prepare customer supplied articles for testing
  • Operate environmental test chambers and data acquisition equipment.
  • Detailed organization of test documentation: procedures, log sheets, equipment lists, photos and test data
  • Daily maintenance of chambers, refrigeration systems, control systems, mechanical systems
  • Support lab-wide initiatives around safety and efficiency utilizing 5S methodologies



Skills:

  • 2 years of relevant experience – previous experience with chambers, refrigeration systems, HVAC, low voltage electrical systems, plc controllers, thermocouples, humidity probes, pressure sensors and/or data loggers is a plus
  • Ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform the testing required.
  • Ability to problem solve independently and autonomously schedule their day to meet required tasks.
  • 5S experience preferred
