Inpatient Psychiatrist opening just NW of Albany, NY

- The Consult Liaison Psychiatrist will provide inpatient consultation coverage for patients at the Hospital campus and will work collaboratively with the Hospitalists, specialists, and community providers;
- You will be doing consults on med-surg floor and ER room crisis intervention (2-8 consults per day).
- Consultations will focus primarily on patients with mental illness who have comorbid medical illness while in the hospital;
- Psychiatrist will work with the Hospital behavioral health interdisciplinary team;
- Position hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm or 7 on 7 off;
- Call rotation is 1:4 weekends
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation is between $255,000 and $310,000
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
