A leading defense litigation firm based in Illinois with offices throughout the United States is looking add an Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join its growing insurance coverage group. This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers with experience handling insurance coverage litigation matters to work with a collaborative group of experienced coverage litigation attorneys who handle cases in Illinois and throughout the U.S., working with domestic and foreign insurers. Position is onsite at the firms Chicago, IL office and includes working with First Party and Third Party claims, must have experience in both.Responsibilities:Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on insurance coverage mattersDraft coverage opinion lettersDraft pleadings, motions, and handle discovery in coverage litigationProvide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjectsCommunicate with clients and draft reports to clientsQualifications:Must have a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the State of IllinoisMust have 2+ years of experience at a law firm, insurance carrier, or working as In-House CounselMust have 2+ years coverage litigation experienceMust have experience in areas of insurance coverage such as coverage opinions (CGL, Auto, E&O & D&O)Must have experience in both third-party and first-party claimsMust have superior analytical skillsMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsBenefits:Salary based on experienceExcellent Benefits PackageProfessional development programsUnlimited PTO planExcellent growth and advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
