The child development physicians and psychologists at McLane Children's Scott & White provide a comprehensive individualized medical and developmental assessment of children with developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder and/or behavioral and learning differences. Position Highlights: \* Physician will be second in the group \* Opportunity to provide comprehensive development assessments & care to a broad range of children \* Outpatient only with no inpatient rounding or consultations \* Psychotropic medication management is optional \* Strong multidisciplinary support from related specialties, including pediatric neurology, genetics, child psychology, child psychiatry, & rehabilitative care specialists \* Opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projects \* Opportunity to work with pediatric residents and medical students \* Leadership opportunities exist \* Academic rank at Texas A&M College of Medicine commensurate with experience About \*McLane Children's Medical Center\*: Our five-story McLane Children's Specialty Clinic is located next to our free standing Children's Hospital. The hospital features include 112 patient beds: 48 private medical/surgical rooms, 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24- hour, level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases. A level IV, 48 bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC, Temple campus.
