Senior Wall Panel Designer – USA RemoteStructural Component Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced wall panel designer to create and maintain designs in MiTek software for residential and commercial structures. The position is remote, available anywhere in the United States, with the option to work from our Omaha, Nebraska or Urbandale, Iowa offices. Typical hours are Monday‑Friday, 45 hours per week. Competitive wages are offered commensurate with experience.Minimum experience required: At least two years of MiTek experience designing multi‑family structures.BenefitsHealth, dental, and life insurance401(k) planEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidaysCasual dress codeResponsibilitiesProvide wall panel designs (layouts, cutting lists, material lists, files, etc.) using MiTek SE Version according to plan and bid specifications.Focus primarily on commercial multi‑family design work.Prepare engineering, approval drawings, layouts, and shop cutting drawings for manufacturing and assembly.Communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and shipping teams.Troubleshoot and resolve design issues, documenting solutions.Use materials efficiently, considering inventory levels and material costs.Meet drafting schedules and complete assigned jobs on time.Maintain detailed job records and reports.Identify opportunities to minimize operating expenses through efficient drafting.Perform wall panel estimates or bids as needed.Execute other related duties as assigned.QualificationsThree years designing commercial wall panels in MiTek.Strong communication, collaboration, and technical skills.Experience with multi‑family residential structures preferred.Job posted by ApplicantPro. #J-18808-Ljbffr
