_Job Description _

The Service Technician III is responsible for completing installation, service, and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. Must have experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.

_Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)_

· Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

· Perform preventative maintenances for a variety of commercial equipment.

· Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

· Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.

· Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

· Approaching every opportunity with a learning mindset.

· Provide high level customer service.

· Actively participate in NCCER Curriculum.

· Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial and industrial.

· Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.

_Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities_

· Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.

· Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.

· Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment

· Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning

· Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heath pumps and air quality systems,

· Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices

· Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.

_Education and Experience_

· High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.

· OSHA 10 Preferred

· EPA Certified

· Valid Drivers’ License

· Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.

_Physical requirements _

· Required to stand, walk, and sit.

· Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.

· Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.

· Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).

· Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.

· Drive.
