Description The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Virginia Health System is seeking applicants for a tenure‑eligible faculty position specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. The department currently serves as the ophthalmic referral center for central and western Virginia and parts of West Virginia, North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. The abundance of patient volume provides excellent opportunities for advancement in ophthalmology. This position will remain open until filled. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment. A completed pre‑employment health screen is required for this position prior to employment.
