Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN Executive Director to lead our hospice operations in Gentiva Hospice. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospice location, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Oversight: Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Patient Care: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, promote comfort, and support patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Staff Management: Lead and develop a talented team of professionals, fostering a culture of respect, open communication, and continuous learning.
  • Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in good standing
  • Minimum 1 year management/supervisory experience in healthcare
  • 2+ years experience in hospice/home care (or equivalent experience as Clinical Nursing Supervisor)
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Master's degree in business, nursing, or related field desired
