Senior Accountant job at Career Movement. Huntington Beach, CA. Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your accounting expertise at a publicly traded manufacturing company. What You’ll Do: Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Assist with SEC filings, including 10-Q and 10-K reports. Partner with internal teams to provide financial insights and ensure compliance with GAAP. Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in reporting and accounting operations. Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience (public company or public accounting background highly valued). Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
