Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Certified Surgical First Assist

Shift: Days / 7a-3:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

On Call/Call Back Requirements: 12-13 calls in a 6 week schedule. Weekday calls are 3:30-0700am next day and weekends are 24 hours on call. Call back time: 1 hour

Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: as scheduled

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience
  • Desired Unit Specific Skillset: OR Surgical Assist, assist the doctor with positioning, during case and may even close for the surgeon. Cases: Cases ranging from general, orthopedic, neuro spine, and gyne
  • AHA BLS
  • Certifications accepted: American Board of Surgical Assist (ABSA) and National Surgical Assistant Association
Other details:
  • COVID BOOSTER Vaccination is required unless medical/religious declination is applicable. Declination must be approved by committee prior to start date
  • Scrub Colors required: Facility provided
