Title: Software Engineer I (C++ Developer) Location: Costa Mesa, CA (Onsite, local consultants only) Type: Fulltime / Direct Hire (Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without any visa sponsorship) Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr Position ProfileOur client is looking for a software engineer 1 to help develop and test software applications that serve the flight test community. An ideal candidate can work in a small dynamic team-based environment capable of handling multiple simultaneous tasks, comfortable with changing requirements and is willing to learn and contribute to the engineering process. The candidate must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and be willing to engage in tasks beyond software development such as documentation, system management, support, training, etc. Responsibilities Design, develop and support software applicationsDevelop backend, front-end, and microservice applicationsWrite DocumentationWork with senior engineers to contribute to architecture and designTake part in code and design reviewsTake an active part in the Scrum Agile process, including planning, standup and retrospectivesActively participate in group discussions, brainstorming sessionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholdersProactively share ideas, seek feedback, and engage in open dialogues to solve challenges creativelyAdapt quickly to changing circumstances What You’ll Need To Be Successful At least 2 years’ software engineering experienceExperience developing distributed microservice applicationsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsBS in computer science or equivalentMust be able to work without sponsorship Workplace Qualities A willingness to embrace new perspectives to improve processes and outcomes.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Open-minded, with a willingness to explore innovative ideas and solutions.Strong capacity for delivering impactful messages effectively.
