Job Summary:

We are looking for an entry-level Refrigeration Technician Level 1 to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to ensuring that systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of refrigeration systems and components.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly.
  • Complete basic repairs and preventive maintenance on refrigeration units.
  • Follow safety protocols and company standards when handling refrigerants and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and systems serviced.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to diagnose issues and learn best practices.
  • Support the team with general HVAC duties as needed.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and continue to develop technical skills.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems or HVAC preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the refrigeration field.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols related to refrigeration and electrical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Prior experience or training in HVAC or refrigeration is a plus.
