Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance firmware for embedded systems in an RTOS environment. Work on next-generation interconnect technologies such as PCIe, CXL, MCTP, UBM, and USB4. Participate in pre-silicon validation, co-simulation, and SOC/IP emulation activities. Support post-silicon bring‑up, debugging, and firmware enablement. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in architecture, hardware, power, and validation. Contribute to full firmware lifecycle including pre‑silicon, post‑silicon, and production support. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of embedded firmware or device driver development. Strong programming in C; experience with C++ or Python is a plus. Hands‑on experience with BMC or management controller firmware. Experience with Zephyr RTOS and board bring‑up. Strong understanding of low‑level protocols: I2C, I3C, PCIe, SPI, JTAG, UART, eSPI. Working knowledge of MCTP and PLDM. Experience with firmware debugging, triaging, root‑cause analysis, and hardware validation. Comfortable working in a Linux build environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with BMC frameworks (OpenBMC, iDRAC, iLO, CMC). Understanding of platform security concepts such as Root of Trust, measured/verified boot. Experience with ARM architecture. Ability to read and interpret digital schematics. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Candidates who enjoy deep firmware development, low-level hardware interaction, and collaborative problem‑solving will excel in this position.
