CNC Machinist/Operator

*Responsibilities:*
* Utilizes blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished products
* Set up and/or operate machine tools to precision tolerances from blueprints and sketches
* Work with a broad range of materials (stainless, hardened steel, exotics)
* Monitor the quality of components using a wide range of equipment and maintain all process documentation
* Utilizes safe working habits and maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner
* Strives to maintain high personal productivity level and performs other related duties as assigned as well as training other employees when necessary
*Requirements:*
* 2-3+ years of related proven experience
* Must have a high degree of mechanical ability and machine expertise
* The ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings & blueprints plus working knowledge of shop trigonometry
* Must be able to work independently to meet customer demands and manage workload of department
* Must be able to lift, handle, or carry heavy materials
* Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
