Services Professional Services – Enablement (fixed‑price projects) Managed Services – Security & CMMC Compliance for Microsoft cloud and on‑premises systems Microsoft GCC High Licensing (secure onboarding & lifecycle operations) Complementary Partner Services (co‑delivered with strategic partners) Job Title Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect – Cybersecurity Key Responsibilities Lead CMMC Level 2 readiness engagements for our clients from start to finish, conduct gap analyses, develop remediation roadmaps, and communicate plans to executive stakeholders. Architect end‑to‑end security solutions in the Microsoft Cloud to address gaps and strengthen clients’ posture, designing secure configurations for Azure services, Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Microsoft Defender suite, Sentinel SIEM, Intune, and other tools, and implementing or guiding implementation with engineering team. Author and review critical security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), network diagrams, control implementation statements, and other evidence required for CMMC certification, ensuring high‑quality deliverables. Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to clients, providing coaching and training on security best practices and preparing for formal CMMC assessments through workshops and risk‑management guidance. Oversee remediation phase of compliance projects, collaborate with engineers, track progress on technical remediation tasks, perform validation testing or reviews. Contribute to continual refinement of Agile IT’s cybersecurity and compliance service offerings, define reusable frameworks, stay updated with Microsoft cloud security innovations and CMMC updates, and share knowledge through playbooks or external content. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in IT security architecture or engineering, significant exposure to Microsoft cloud technologies, preferred compliance initiatives (CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001) in consulting or internal lead capacity. Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure security capabilities, comfortable with Azure AD (Entra ID) security, Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint/Office 365/Cloud Apps, Azure Defender, Sentinel SIEM, Intune (MDM/MAM), data protection tools, network security for Azure (NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN/ExpressRoute). Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of CMMC 2.0 Level 2 requirements, ability to map controls to Microsoft cloud implementations, familiarity with audit processes, certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CMMC‑AB assessor training beneficial. Problem‑Solving & Communication: Excellent problem‑solving skills, clear policy and report writing, comfortable briefing engineers and executive audiences. Consulting Mindset: Customer‑facing experience (consultant, solutions architect), adept at managing multiple projects, owning outcomes, collaborating with team. Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred; relevant industry certifications (Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, MS‑500, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) strengthen candidacy.
