Position Summary We are seeking a seasoned, high-energy marketing leader to take full P&L responsibility for our lead generation business. The S VP of Lead Generation will lead strategy and execution across both digital (SEM, affiliate, performance media) and offline (print, distribution, directories) channels. This role is ideal for someone who can combine analytical rigor with operational precision, drive growth, manage cross-functional teams, and own the business end-to-end from acquisition to profitability. Key Responsibilities Own the full P&L for the lead generation business: revenue, cost, margin, ROI, growth. Develop and execute a unified, omnichannel marketing strategy that includes support for digital lead‑gen (SEM, affiliate, display, paid search, performance media) and offline/print (Best Pick Reports, Five Star Rated, directory, print distribution) lead‑gen channels. Optimize acquisition funnels to maximize lead volume and lead quality (ensuring strong conversion and client satisfaction). Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing team across marketing, analytics, product, print operations, customer success, and offline channels. Drive data‑driven decision‑making: define KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, leading indicators, etc. Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Marketing to align marketing investment with business objectives and partner success. Identify and test new lead sources, affiliate partnerships, technology/platform enhancements, and print‑digital integration opportunities. Budget planning, resource allocation, vendor/partner negotiation, and continual process improvement. Required Qualifications 12+ years of progressive marketing/demand‑gen experience, including at least 5+ years in a leadership role (e.g., Director/VP) with P&L responsibility. Deep experience with digital performance marketing (SEM/paid search, affiliate marketing, display, analytics). Proven experience in offline/print marketing or lead generation businesses that include print/media channels (e.g., publishing, directories, print distribution). Strong data‑orientation: ability to synthesize large data sets, develop forecasts, create insights, track ROI and lead quality, make decisions based on metrics. Demonstrated ability to develop and scale marketing teams, set strategy and drive execution. Excellent communication skills: able to influence cross‑functional stakeholders, report to senior leadership, translate strategy into operational plans. Experience with lead generation business models (pay‑per‑lead, pay‑per‑call, directory‑based) is a strong plus. Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment with both digital and traditional channels. Bachelor’s degree required. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $160,000+ (depending on experience) Equity participation eligible, comprehensive health/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) plan.
