Gastroenterologist - Full-Time OpportunityGV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center - Jackson, MSThe GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), providing up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement for qualified candidates. Position Highlights:Completing inpatient and outpatient consults, review/disposition of clinical and care in the community consults, GI clinics to potentially include telehealth clinics, and performing all general GI endoscopic procedures and EUS/ERCP if trained/proficient in these advanced proceduresThe incumbent will also supervise trainees/fellows who are rotating on the GI service to include inpatient consults, consult review, outpatient clinics, and proceduresCompetitive salary and full federal benefits packageTour of duty (schedule): to be determinedSalary range: $250,000 - $400,000Basic Requirements:Board-certified/board-eligibleUnrestricted U.S. medical licenseCitizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.Why Jackson, MS?Jackson, the capital of Mississippi, offers a unique blend of Southern charm, rich history, and a growing medical community.
