The incumbent oversees all financial operations across the U.S. market and plays a critical role in fiscal strategy, regulatory compliance, and long-term financial planning.Responsibilities:Execute the companys financial strategyManage functions i.e. treasury, budgeting, auditing, taxes, general accounting, company asset procurement, long range forecasting, and insurance plans and policies for the company inclusive of health and welfare as well as property, cargo and workers compensationBuild a team of finance department staff and implementing procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper record keeping and accountability of all company financesEstablish and maintain relationships with banking institutions and government agenciesOversee and manage company funds, securities, and assetsMaintain constant financial position of the company and report to the Executive Board on the companys financial stability, liquidity, and growthManage various State, Federal and Government tax reporting programs, and investor relations activitiesPreparation and issuance of the corporations annual reportMaintain up to date on changes, government and economic conditions in the market and keep the Executive Board informed of any negative or positive impacts.Analytics on the overall operational process of the company and each department, providing the Executive Board with financial impact - negative or positive - as well as issuing recommendations for improvement where neededDevelop plans for growth to increase company profit while also reducing expendituresAssist the Executive Board to develop budgets and financial plansRequirements:Education and/or ExperienceBachelors degree in finance, accounting, or similar fieldMaster of Business Administration (MBA) is a plusDemonstrate strong evidence of working in a financial leadership role. Extensive experience in a leadership role with a proven ability to manage large-scale projects and oversee the long-term goals of a companySkills, Knowledge and Abilities10+ years of Accounting / Finance experience for this role.Decision making and problem-solving skillsLeadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire team membersHonesty and IntegrityStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage time effectively #J-18808-Ljbffr
