Job Description Clinical Research Assistant (Full-Time/Contractual C1) **This is a FULL-TIME, CONTRACTUAL/C1 position** The School of Medicine - Department of Pathology - Research has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Assistant. PRIMARY DUTIES Assist with data collection by reviewing medical charts, and accessing computerized medical information systems. Assist with organization of paper medical records and surveys for database transition. Assist in developing, submitting, and providing content for grants, papers, abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations. Assist with performing administrative duties. May assist the PI and other research staff in the development of research protocols and materials. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific field of study related to the research of the clinical setting. Experience: May consider a combination of directly related experience and education. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of position requirements. Knowledge of all applicable requirements, regulations, and laws. Skill in the effective use of applicable technology/systems. Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently.
