Sessions, Israel & Shartle, LLC is a medium sized firm, with “large firm” representation responsibilities. We have 11 offices and 31 attorneys that serve clients nationally. We need experienced consumer defense or litigation attorneys. Who we are Maintaining the largest consumer defense practice in the country, we offer our debt collector, debt buyer, and financial institution clients not just litigation defense, but compliance, licensing and regulatory representation. Our largest practice areas include: consumer law; employment; commercial litigation; corporate and business transactions; and bankruptcy. What our consumer defense attorneys do Defend consumer law cases in federal and state courts throughout the United States, with a special focus on handling class actions Responsible for all stages of litigation, from analyzing case law and facts, completing discovery (including depositions), handling hearings and trials- all to full resolution Work with senior attorneys and partners to develop action plans and strategies Engage directly with clients and opposing counsel Coordinate with local counsel Manage cases with insurance risk managers Skills and qualifications needed JD Degree from an ABA-approved law school One of the following: top 1/3 of law school class, law review, and/or moot court Consumer defense experience is preferred, but not required; insurance coverage experience helpful Licensure in more than one state and federal court admissions helpful Technologically savvy and have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products Comfortable in a paperless environment Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload Ability to analyze cases and develop strategy Independent and highly motivated Excellent research, writing and communications abilities What we offer Competitive salary and bonus potential 401K plan with automatic Firm contribution How to apply Submit a resume, transcript, and 2 writing samples for consideration to resumes@sessions.legal About The Sessions Firm For more information about The Sessions Firm and our practice, please visit our website at www.sessions.legal.
