Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a global, renewable energy company who is hiring for a Director of Engineering to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, while working onsite with up to 30% travel. The ideal candidate has proven leadership in PV solar engineering, strong technical expertise, and the ability to guide and grow cross-functional teams across multiple regions. Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership for engineering operations across the U.S., China, and Europe, aligning initiatives with global business goals. Lead project design, research, and development efforts while driving product innovation and continuous improvement. Oversee product certification, compliance, and third-party testing to ensure adherence to global standards. Manage engineering resources, budgets, and schedules to ensure on-time and cost-effective project delivery. Mentor and develop engineering and quality teams, fostering collaboration, performance, and technical excellence. Partner with customers through technical communication, training sessions, and advanced support to address complex product needs. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 10+ years within the PV solar industry. Experience with a utility-scale solar Engineering of Record (EOR) firm or active electrical engineering license. Strong technical expertise in PV solar power systems, design, and construction practices. Extensive experience managing and developing teams. Demonstrated success managing growing, multidisciplinary engineering teams across global operations. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset. Proficiency with AutoCAD and BIM; NABCEP certification is preferred.
