Social Media Strategist

Overview Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. We're hiring a Content Strategist to turn TUB into the go-to brand for AI-first business transformation. You'll own our daily social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, and emerging platforms—translating bold ideas into scroll-stopping content that drives enrollment and community engagement. This isn't a post-and-ghost role. You'll build community, test formats, capture content, and scale output during championship-season launches while maintaining brand voice that feels human, high-trust, and transformation-focused. Who We Are The Uncommon Business is the world's fastest-growing AI-first education company, teaching business leaders to architect intelligent systems, not just prompt tools. We don't do busywork, legacy thinking, or 80-hour founder weeks. We build companies where AI handles the repeatable, humans drive the irreplaceable, and leaders scale without burning out. We're profitable, EOS-driven, and operate in championship-level surge cycles. You'll be promoted on impact and ownership—not tenure. High performers thrive here. Passengers don't last. If You Worked Here Last Week You might have: Published 12 pieces of platform-native content across IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X that generated 47 new bootcamp signups and 200+ meaningful engagements Tested a new carousel format on LinkedIn that drove 3.2x more saves than previous posts, documented the win, and built it into the content calendar system Captured clean iPhone content of Callan at an event, edited it into 3 quick reels using CapCut, and had them posted within 24 hours Collaborated with Student Success to surface and repurpose three student transformation stories into social-first video clips that drove 50K+ impressions Managed 80+ DMs and comments across platforms, triaged two high-intent prospects to Sales, and identified a pattern in objections to feed back to Director of Marketing Scaled content output to 2.5x normal during launch surge week, coordinating with Marketing Coordinator on asset creation while maintaining brand voice and quality standards Core Responsibilities We value ownership over task lists. Here's where you'll lead: Content Creation & Capture: You'll create and execute daily social content across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok—blending educational insights, student wins, behind-the-scenes moments, and brand thought leadership. You'll capture clean iPhone content when opportunities arise, edit quick reels/TikToks (CapCut-level), and maintain TUB's bold, transformation-focused voice across threads, carousels, and short-form video. You use AI for ideation and iteration as a creative partner, not replacement. Visual Brand Stewardship & Quality Control: You'll review and refine all content before publishing to ensure tone, storytelling, and visual standards meet brand expectations. You oversee design details—fonts, layouts, cover images—so every post aligns with the brand identity and looks cohesive across the feed. Captions, links, CTAs, and visuals are error-free on your watch. Community Management & Engagement: You'll own daily engagement across all platforms—responding to comments and DMs, building relationships with our audience, and positioning TUB as thought leaders in AI-first business. You'll surface student success stories for content, collaborate with Client Success on member highlights, and turn community insights into content opportunities that drive enrollment intent. You'll also own ManyChat—building flows, managing automations, and ensuring campaigns and integrations run smoothly. Performance Tracking & Optimization: You'll track reach, engagement, and conversion attribution, using data to iterate on what's working and kill what's not. You'll manage the content calendar, plan posts at optimal times, and test new formats, hooks, and content series—reporting actionable insights monthly to Director of Marketing, not vanity metrics. Strategic Contribution & Launch Execution: You'll come to brand strategy meetings with proactive content ideas—not just execute what's handed to you. Twice per year during 6-8 week launch windows, you'll scale content output 2-3x while maintaining quality and brand standards, execute launch-specific campaigns, coordinate with Marketing Coordinator on asset creation, and provide real-time performance insights to adjust strategy mid-launch. This requires ownership mentality—you're part of the championship team. The Traits We’re Calling In We hire humans, not checklists, but success here requires: Managed social media for 2-4+ years for a brand, startup, or agency (education/B2B preferred) with measurable growth results you can point to. Built social presences from early traction to serious scale and understand platform-native strategies that actually work. Strong writing who translates complex into punchy. Captions have personality, clarity, and a clear call to action. AI-fluent and ship fast. Comfortable using AI for content generation, ideation, and optimization—treating it as leverage, not a threat. Sharp eye for trends, hooks, and visual content, and test-learn-optimize relentlessly. Capacity to capture and edit clean iPhone content. Shoot professional-looking video on a phone and edit quick reels/TikToks in CapCut or similar tools. This isn't Adobe-level editing—but turn around polished 60-second content fast. Strategic thinking AND execution chops. Take a hook direction or content pillar and run with it—creating content that hits the mark without needing hand-holding. Understand why certain content converts and apply that thinking independently. Self-starter who thrives in remote, surge-cycle environments. Juggle multiple content streams, manage own calendar, proactively surface problems and solutions. Minnesota-based preferred—able to be on-site within an hour when spontaneous content opportunities arise. What Success Looks Like Own these key metrics: Social Enrollment Attribution: 30-40% of bootcamp and masterclass signups attributed to social channels within 90 days, with clear tracking and reporting on which platforms and content types drive conversions. Engagement Quality: 15-20% improvement in engagement rate (saves, shares, meaningful comments vs. vanity likes) quarter-over-quarter, demonstrating audience depth and intent—not just reach. Content Consistency & Volume: 5+ high-quality posts per week during steady-state, scaling to 12-15/week during launch windows, with zero missed days and maintained brand voice across all platforms. Community Growth & Management: 100% response rate to DMs and high-intent comments within 24 hours, with documented insights fed back to Director of Marketing and Client Success for strategic iteration. Launch Season Expectations Our launch seasons are intentionally high-intensity and fast-paced to drive transformation for our clients and our team. Twice per year (10-12 weeks total), team members in launch-critical roles are expected to be available from 7 AM to 7 PM, with additional hours often required for preparation, execution, live event support, and post-launch debriefs. This pace is not for everyone—and that's okay. We set this expectation clearly so that only those who thrive in high-accountability, high-impact environments choose to be here. Salary and Benefits Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually (full-time) Health & Wellness: Monthly wellness stipend + access to personalized and group wellness coaching (Human Performance Program) to sustain high performance Professional Growth: $1,500-$3,000 annual development budget for courses, conferences, certifications, and tools that sharpen your edge Unlimited PTO: Real flexibility with clear boundaries—we operate in championship seasons and strategic recovery periods (sustainable pace) True Downtime: Company-wide closure December 25–January 1 so you can fully disconnect Job Details Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Marketing and Sales Industries Business Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
