Emergency Shelter Supervisor (Evening) Child Saving Institute Hours: 2PM-10PM (Fridays & Saturdays OFF) Ages: Infant to 18 years of age Pay Starts: $60,000/yr + (More depending on experience) About CSI Our story begins in Omaha in 1892, when, due to epidemics, poverty and the difficulties of pioneer life, many children were left in need of parental care. Child Saving Institute (CSI) is looking for someone who has a mind full of wonder and a heart‑filled desire to make a difference We’re on a mission to champion what’s best for each child and family. Responsibilities Oversee the day‑to‑day shelter operations. Supervise Youth Care Specialists and provide mentorship. Ensure licensing and accreditation compliance. Advocate for the youth in our care. Qualifications Hold a Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field (required). Are 21 years of age or older. Have at least two years of experience working with youth in crisis and their families. Are experienced in coordinating daily operations in a residential or shelter setting. Are comfortable working evenings, weekends, and on‑call hours as needed. Vehicle Requirements Reliable transportation that meets agency vehicle inspection requirements. Proof of insurance that meets agency requirements. Completion of defensive driver training class within the 1st week of employment. Bonus Points Experience working in a licensed residential care facility. Background in facilitating team meetings and performance management. Experience collecting and using CQI data for program improvement.
