TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE

The Fredericksburg Field House opened its doors in the fall of 2005. We offer leagues, camps, classes, clinics, and tournaments for youth and adults in soccer, flag football, volleyball, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, corn hole, and other social sports. We also host birthday and team parties, corporate events, and other organized activities. The Fredericksburg Field House stands at 75,000 square feet and has 2 large turf fields (soccer and field hockey), 1 small turf field, 3 regulation volleyball courts, 1 basketball court, multiple party rooms, and an indoor batting cage. Our guests are encouraged to visit our fully stocked kitchen and concessions stand and lounge. We have up to 6 free-standing bounce houses for children of ages up to 12 years of age. For entertainment, we have 4 flat screen TV's in the lounge and other TV's throughout the building. For the best indoor sports - TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE

The Fredericksburg Field House is currently looking for a Field Marshal. The Field Marshall is responsible for ensuring safety for all guests including, but not limited to players, coaches, officials, and spectators. The Field Marshall reports directly to the Tournament and League Director and the Manager on Duty.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Check rosters and player's identification
  • Monitor and limit player boxes to players, coaches, and officials
  • Ensure correct equipment is available for games
  • Make sure games start on time
  • Respond to all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations
  • Complete and file required reports
  • Keep Manager on Duty informed of issues and updates
  • Monitor playing fields and courts
  • Monitor facility and enforce Field House rules
  • Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by the Sports Director, Manager on Duty and/or General Manager
  • Keep score as necessary

  • Ability to remain calm and focus in an emergency situation
  • Must be able to work irregular shifts to include, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able carry, kneel, lift, move, pull, push, reach, sit, squat, and/or walk for the duration of the shift (8 or more hours)
  • Must be able to carry, lift, push and pull heavy equipment.
