Laundry Aide

Solaris HealthCare is hiring a Laundry Aide to join our team:

Laundry Aide Responsibilities:

* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and storage area
* Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of germs and ensure a safe work environment
* Sort and process soiled linens and clothing according to established procedures
* Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean and sanitize linens and clothing
* Inspect clean linens and clothing for stains, tears, or other damage, and report any issues to the supervisor
* Fold, stack, and distribute clean linens and clothing to designated areas within the facility
* Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished

* Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks and support overall operations within the facility

Laundry Aide requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent organizational and time management skills.

* Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy loads of laundry.

* Willingness to adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

* Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
