Earnings and growth potential are excellent but on top of that, we also have work/home balance. Job Summary Kitchen Designers work inside a retail showroom in a high‑integrity, relational sales environment along with our appliance team. They also work in the field, with customers in their homes. Designers need excellent time‑management skills. They balance energy between cultivating new sales opportunities while finishing designs and finalizing/closing contracts for existing clients. Compensation and Training Pay Kitchen Designers earn a base salary of $1,000 per week plus commissions. Commissions will be guaranteed at $500 per week for the first 24 weeks of employment. This helps cover the ramp‑up period while a new Designer is training and builds a pipeline of sales. Details of the commission plan will be thoroughly explained during the interview process. In total, an experienced Kitchen Designer should earn $72,000 - $100,000 per year. Responsibilities Responsible for achieving goals/objectives Design kitchens with 2020 Manage relationships with clients and ensure a great customer experience Generate estimates and contracts Meet with customers and contractors in‑store and in‑home at each stage of the sales and construction process Utilize and update our contact relationship management (CRM) tools Qualifications 3 years kitchen design experience 2020 design software experience Retail sales skills Willingness to work hard and demonstrate perseverance, determination, and self‑discipline Bray & Scarff is the top retail destination for luxury appliances in our market.
