Job Summary

Lifeguards will monitor all guests who enter LeRoy Greason Pool. Lifeguards on duty will enforce pool usage guidelines, maintain order and cleanliness of pool desk answer questions of patrons, answer telephone, and alternate between sitting and walking while watching people swim. Other duties may be assigned as outlined by their supervisor. All Lifeguards must wear swimsuit and Lifeguard t-shirt or sweat suit while on duty. Temperatures of 80 degrees or more are common.

+ Hourly rate for this position is $16.75/ per hour

Education/Skills Requirements

Required:

+ CPR and First Aid certified

+ Completion of blood-borne pathogens training upon hire.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

Preferred:

+ Previous work as a lifeguard

Standard Work Days and Hours

+ This is a casual, part-time, non-benefit eligible position.

+ The schedule will vary dependent on the needs of the pool.
