A financial services client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is looking to bring on a Fee Manager to be based in New York, NY. This position is HYBRID (3 days a week onsite, 2 days a week remote). The contract’s duration is 4 months with possible extension. *W2 and Local only.
The purpose of this role is to bring in a temporary employee with excel and analytical skills that can help the business work through a remediation of legacy fees on our Discretionary platform. Additionally, having this role will allow us to develop a process and control(s) around these fees to ensure that on a go-forward basis we have a strong proposition.
This team has a new process that over time has cost the bank and has created a need for a lookback to compare fees back dating a few years to ensure accuracy. This person will be using Excel for comparing data and reviewing. When an account is opened in the discretionary world and money is managed for a fee, and what has happened over time is when a certain process is used there has been gaps in efficiency. There will be some analytical work done to help identify the breaks.
