Assistant Store Manager – Rooms To Go Rooms To Go is a large, fast‑growing furniture retailer with 9,500 employees and more than 250 locations. We are currently recruiting for a full‑time Assistant Store Manager to help customers create their dream living space. Base Pay Range $60,000.00/yr – $60,000.00/yr Benefits & Perks 401(k) with company match Vision, dental, health & life insurance Disability coverage Vacation & holiday pay Employee discounts on furniture What You'll Be Doing Oversee the daily operations of the showroom, including sales, customer service, and maintenance. Work with, mentor and train a team of commission‑based sales associates to increase customer experience and sales profitability. Ensure customers receive excellent service and are pleased with purchases and deliveries. Train and develop a high‑performing sales team, setting individual and team goals to maximize potential. Coach consultants to establish realistic monthly sales goals and develop action plans. Assist in maintaining a clean, inviting, and well‑presented showroom. Participate in the sales process to enhance the customer shopping experience and educate associates. Contribute to a positive staff morale. What We're Looking For Strong mentoring, coaching, and development skills with the ability to motivate teams to achieve results. Minimum of 2 years of retail sales management experience, preferably in the furniture industry and managing commission‑based associates. Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. Knowledge of computer programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Drive to succeed in a sales‑driven environment.
